Exhausted, But Exposed to Beauty

FH (Fuzzy Husband) and I are back from this month's bow meet. The boys all had a great time and I enjoyed making sawdust all over a sweepable floor. ;-)

We had pulled barbecue pork, polish kielbasa, sauerkraut, and chips for lunch.

Here's FH busily working on his bow:

On our way out I ran around the grounds and took pictures of pretty things.

Kat,tell FH that I have a couple of spoke shave tools like he was using on the bow. They were from my grandfather's things. It's good to see someone actually using one. It looks like he was winning the race for the most sawdust! ;-)

I'm glad you defined what "FH" meant - I was wondering :) Nice to see wild flowers from the Midwest. I grew up in Missouri and miss them!

Casey: I told him and he said, "neat!"

Mary: It was indeed a swell day. :-)

Karen: Since we both have such diverse hobbies, we cut each other a lot of slack when it comes to strange things in the house. ;-)

Christine: Where in MO?

Katie: You ain't seen nothin' yet. He does leatherwork, tans hides, cooks... and he helps me sew.

Michelle: Violets are my favorite! We wanted sugared ones on our wedding cake but they were late blooming that year.

Pamela: Yes he shoots what he carves. He will be making his own arrows again soon.

I grew up in University City in St. Louis right next to Wash U. I sure wish there had been the miniature museum when I was there - but that didn't happen till I long since moved away. C'est la vie :)
