Catching Up, part one

For the past few weeks I've been taking care of Castor and FH, which means I haven't had time for minis or blogging. But now I think things can start smoothing out.

The dryer was not ink free when I tested it. I have cleaned it again and will test it again... hopefully for the last time. I really need to catch up on the laundry.

Castor is eating again and becoming quite demanding about food. FH has started physical therapy and should heal up nicely. Our trip to Kansas City was canceled due to the injury, but we made the best out of his first vacation in four years anyway.

I've also been behind in thanking people for things I've gotten in the mail.

First is this assortment of awesome Halloween printies from Tara at The Dollhouse at Pooh Corner.

Second is my Pay It Forward gift from Maia at Maia's Twinkle Miniatures.

My gift to Maia is on it's way to her and I will post pictures of it after she has received it. :-)

Thank you very much, ladies! :-)

I started a second spider web to see if I would be any happier with it. Here's how far I've been able to get.

Here's the first one alongside the current.

I plan on finishing the original at some point.

The UPS man just dropped off this treasure! I'm so excited now. I will be reading it tonight for sure.
I have some awards and tags to post about still. I will do that in my next entry. Right now I'm going to spend some more time with FH before his last day of vacation is over.

It is good to hear that FH is starting to mend, and it is good to see Castor up and about!

An Angie Skarr book! I hope to see some fimo creations soon!

So, are you happier with the new spider web? I think that both look great!

hoo-ray--good news about FH and Castor! What nice gifts! Is that a little pair of ladies gloves with the purse from Maia? So cute! I like both spiderwebs too- but can understand how something a little bit off can drive a person nuts. I have that book on order too- can't wait till it gets here! Like I need another project, hee hee :) Hope your last day of vacation with FH is wonderful!!!!

Love the Halloween printies and glad to hear of health improvements! I've got one Angie Scarr book and must get the one you just got--although I really need Angie to appear beside me when I get out the Fimo and make my pitiful attempts!

Hope FH is 100% very soon. I had to read back a ways to read what had happened. Best wishes to Castor and his caregiver! Oh, loved the spider web...
